1990s Nostalgia Products Keyword Research
There are many classic 1990s TV series that people are nostalgic about, but they don’t have as much fan merchandise as the shows listed below. Shows like ER, Roseanne, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and Will and Grace have a few Funko Pops between them, but not the mass amount of t-shirts, socks, mugs and novelty items that these next shows have engendered. Then again, The X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer both have tons of merchandise created around them, but mostly appeals to sci-fi fans, not the general public nostalgic for the gentler 1990s.
Cheers TV Show (1982-1993)
Cheers ran mostly in the 1980s, but lingered until 1993. There are Cheers Funko Pops, books about the Cheers TV show, and Cheers nostalgia gifts.
Friends TV Show (1994-2004)
The classic 1990s TV show “Friends” is really having a moment right now. There is a new Polly Pocket Friends compact (featuring Central Perk and Monica’s apartmment); Friends Little Golden Book, Friends Bitty Pop vinyl mini toys from Funko, full size Funko Pop toys based on Friends characters, Friends cookbooks; Friends Central Perk themed dinnerware sets, and tons of Friends/Central Perk coffee mugs. The iconic orange couch makes lots of appearances in home decor and kitchen items; and a company named Paladone makes lots of Friends trivia games, gifts and trinkets.
The Golden Girls TV Show (1985-1992)
The Golden Girls is really having a moment this past two years. Betty White, individually, also has been really popular for a couple years before and since her death in 2021.
There are Golden Girls lunch boxes, games, puzzles, books, and of course, Golden Girls Funko Pops. There are Golden Girls plush dolls, a Little People figures set, Golden Girls kitchen accessories, and plenty of Golden Girls gift items.
Seinfeld TV Show
There are Seinfeld books, cookbooks, calendars, clothing items, t-shirts, Little People Collector figures and of course Funko Pops.

Several important and beloved movies are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. Nostalgia for some of them runs high.
