It’s Follow Friday, and today I want to introduce you to some YouTube content creator channels in case you are learning to build and grow your following on YouTube. Some of these can be downloaded as podcasts as well.
Think Media Podcast
This channel specializes in YouTube tips for building a profitable channel. Besides videos on growing your YouTube channel, they talk about affiliate marketing, content creation, creating an online course, content trends, and work-life-balance issues for content creators. So many good tips in these videos!
You can listen to their episodes on your podcast app, too.

The Colin & Samir Show
Colin and Samir interview YouTube creators on their creator journey, occasionally interview the CEO of YouTube, host creator round tables, and profile successful business people as well as YouTubers. They occasionally tour YouTubers studios (which is great to watch on video and probably not as exciting to listen to on a podcast!)
They offer very interesting, educational and inspiring episodes. I look forward to these every time they come out.

Video Creators
This channel and podcast promise “YouTube Strategy for Your Next Million Subscribers.” Their channel is aimed at established creators, not beginners, so they offer next-level tactics. There are a few reality checks, hints on why your channel isn’t making it yet, and help with formulas to keep viewers watching to the end.
This is a must-listen show for me when I’m on one of my frequent cross-state road trips.

Creator Science
I just recently subscribed to Jay Franco’s “Creator Science” podcast. He features successful YouTubers, teaches us how to host profitable workshops, and occasionally provides tips on TikTok and Linkedin as well.
There’s a lot of knowledge here, and I’m going to prioritize a morning each week to catch up on his previous videos, notepad in hand!

Nick Nimmin
I’ve learned a lot from Nick Nimmin about YouTube channels, and also about livestreaming. His is the show I look forward to the most every week. His channel is aimed at smaller creators, and he’s really good at staying on top of YouTube news and changes and interpreting that for his audience in a timely manner. He’s extremely helpful, and I enjoy his insights and down to earth approach.
